For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them.
Romans 10:13-14

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all national, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20
At Calvary, we are committed to be the feet that go and the voice that shares the Gospel with the world around us.  Our desire is to share the love of God with those in our community, in our nation, and around the world.  We believe our faith is most evident in the way we impact the world around us and we seek to make that impact locally, nationally, and globally through many outreach and missions opportunities.

Local Missions

Faith Mission Outreach
Calvary operates the Faith Mission Outreach in downtown Russellville.  This ministry provides clothing, furniture, and food to families in Franklin County who find themselves in need. Assistance is provided each Thursday beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Mission.
Go Ministries
Go Ministries was birthed in the hearts of students in our community with a desire to reach out the children of our city.  Monday nights from late spring to early fall find students and adults gathered at Eastside Park to play games and build relationships with the neighborhood children and their families.  Every week’s gathering ends with a Bible study and snacks.  In August 2015, Go Ministries began offering a ladies Bible study for the mothers of the children.  In conjunction with the Go Ministries team, Calvary provides transportation for children and families to attend Sunday and Wednesday services at Calvary as well.
National Missions
Members of Calvary have joined teams from the Franklin County Baptist Association, Alabama Baptists, and the North American Mission Board to serve in building and other missions opportunities throughout the United States.
International Missions
Every summer, Calvary sends at least one team to serve on an overseas mission trip. The trips provide opportunities for individuals to share the gospel in other cultures through construction projects, healthcare ministry, and evangelistic activities.  In recent years, we have sent teams to Uganda, Nicaragua, and Jamaica.
